Ashihara Onsen Hakuwaso is a Japanese style hotel located in Awara and about 10 minutes walk from Awara-Yunomachi Station, near Eiheiji Temple, Etizen Coast, and Toujinbo (cliffs). Guests may enjoy wearing traditional yukata robes, available in each guest room. Guests may borrow conveniences such as hair dryers at no additional charge (please inquire at the front desk for details). Facilities include a natural hot spring bath, an open-air bath, a coin laundry and a vending machine corner. The water in the natural hot spring baths is sourced from 70 meters under the ground. Kyoufu Kaiseki meal is offered for dinner. The meal is prepared from ingredients that are carefully selected by the master chef himself at the local morning fish market.
