Marufukuro

Marufukuro is a luxury hotel that combines the former headquarters of Nintendo with a new wing designed and supervised by Tadao Ando. Nintendo started to make history from 1889. Three existing buildings, which used to be the company's former headquarters, have been transformed into a hotel with the addition of a new wing designed by world-renowned architect Tadao Ando. Marufukuro Kyoto offers free bicycle rental, a fitness center, 24-hour reception, lounge, and free WiFi. We also have 24-hour lounges and a former Nintendo dNa Library with a whiskey Bar, a special space open only to hotel guests where you can get in touch with Nintendo's history and origins. Japanese or Western breakfast menus are available everyday, while Vegetarian and vegan menus could also be prepared upon request.
