The rural hotel results from the adaptation and extension of an old manor house that once belonged to D. MartinsManso Manuel, who was Bishop of Guarda, natural Bemposta. Construction of the house will have already occurred in the first half of sec. XVIII, showing the main facade of some of the typical characteristics of a noble or aristocratic transmontana home of the late seventeenth and eighteenth centuries.
