Phillipshaugen Lodge

Phillipshaugen Lodge was built in 1899 by Ethelbert Lort Phillip and is a gem of a building full of history. From the lodge, there is a panoramic view from the living rooms and bedrooms of the majestic Øksendal Mountains. In the living rooms, you can enjoy the historical atmosphere and relax in classic seating areas and Chesterfield furniture in front of one of the fireplaces. The lodge has 11 historical guest rooms, and in the large garden, you can enjoy tranquility and a fantastic view of glaciers and mountains. The lodge is a very good starting point for classic summit trips, both in summer and winter, and an excellent base for destinations such as Trollstigen, the Atlantic Road, Innerdalen, Trollheimen, and Dovrefjell. We also highly recommend our outdoor restaurant and our sauna with a view of the fantastic Fløtatinden.
