A beautiful example of a 'quinta', owned by the same family for decades, this hotel is situated 670 m above sea level, in the village of Santo da Serra, between Santa Cruz, Machico and Funchal. For the purpose of accommodating visitors, the estate has been developed and chalets and self catering semi-detached cottages have been built in the surrounding gardens.
