The Glenburn Hotel

This grand, elegant 3-star hotel on the Isle of Bute was originally constructed in 1892 as a hydrotherapy retreat. Guests at the Glenburn Hotel have a wide selection of accommodations for their stay in Rothesay. Each bedroom, ranging from 20 to 30 square meters, ensures a comfortable visit, and many offer stunning, uninterrupted views of Rothesay Bay. The bright, airy Ettrick Restaurant seats up to 200 guests, while the more intimate Pattersons Grill, overlooking the bay, is perfect for special occasions. Pattersons is also available for private functions. The island is accessible via two ferry crossings: Wemyss Bay to Rothesay (just an hour from Glasgow city center) and Colintraive (Cowal Peninsula) to Rhubodach.
