Paço de Sao Cipriano

Paço de São Cipriano is located in the parish of S. Cipriano de Taboadelo, on the road out to Guimarães, in a landscape marked by a secular heritage and a treasury of experiences devoted to remarkable discoveries. Set amid 120 acres of enchanting gardens, surprising orchards and sun-dappled vineyards, this 15th century house is located on the old pilgrim route to Santiago de Compostela and has maintained its age-old custom of welcoming travellers. The spirit of medieval Portugal is evident in the delightful tower room with its splendid four-poster bed. The owners are excellent hosts and the old stone pool is perfect for summer bathing.
