Solar da Boaventura Residencia

This guest-house is situated on the north coast of the island, between Sao Vincente and Santana, and approximately 50 km from Funchal. It is a great place to enjoy the nature, undertake hiking activities or to simply relax and breath-in the fresh air. Acquired in 1974 by the current owners, the hotel building, which has had various uses over the centuries from housing to a school, dispensary and health centre, has been carefully refurbished and adapted while retaining all the original architectural style of the manor houses of Madeira. Guests will immediately feel the warmth and hospitality that ejects form the wooden ceiling, the charming interior and the rustic furniture. They can enjoy a chilled glass of the local fortified wine at the bar or dine in the restaurant which serves a mixture of local, national and international dishes.
